How do I sign up?
Download JoyWorks from the App Store. Open the app and create an account. If you’re at a university shopper that supports campus verification, enter your .edu email — we’ll send a 6-digit code to confirm your campus affiliation. If you’re not affiliated with a campus, you’ll be asked to confirm your date of birth.
How do I manage or cancel my JoyFull Mode subscription?
JoyFull Mode is managed through your Apple ID, not inside the JoyWorks app. To view, change, or cancel:
- Open iOS Settings
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select JoyFull Mode
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
In the JoyWorks app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible; your data is removed within 30 days per our privacy policy.
If you can’t access the app, email [email protected] with your account email and we’ll handle deletion within 1–2 business days.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Tap the report icon (…) on any post, comment, or message and select a reason. Our moderation team reviews reports within 24 hours.

What is JoyFull Mode?
JoyFull Mode is JoyWorksAI’s premium subscription. It unlocks Sassy and Sassy+ content modes (available to users in university shoppers), poll unlocks, and premium features added throughout the year.
Pricing: $5.99 per week, auto-renewing. Cancel anytime through iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
How does .edu verification work?
When you sign up at a university shopper, we verify your campus affiliation by sending a 6-digit code to your .edu email address. Enter the code in the app to join your campus community.
The .edu verification confirms you’re a current student or affiliate. It doesn’t expire while your .edu email remains active.
Why does JoyWorks need my location?
Location enables core features:
- Discovering social opportunities nearby
- Attendance check-ins at venues
- Proximity-based matching for spontaneous plans
- Location-relevant deals from local businesses
You can manage location permissions in iOS Settings → JoyWorks → Location. Some features will be limited if location is denied.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap “Forgot Password.” Enter your email and we’ll send a reset link. If the email doesn’t arrive within 5 minutes, check your spam folder. If it still doesn’t show up, email [email protected].
How do I change my email address?
Open the JoyWorks app: Settings → Account → Email. We’ll send a verification code to the new email to confirm the change.
Privacy and data
